What Is Crypto Mining?
The most basic definition of crypto mining is that devices equipped with special software and hardware solve complex problems, approve cryptocurrency transfer transactions, and are rewarded with newly created crypto currency as a result. In theory, anyone with a computer and access to the Internet can mine. On most blockchains, transfers between wallets are routed to a transaction pool (mempool) before being decertified. The operations are then combined to form a block. These blocks are added to the blockchain after they have been verified and validated by network-connected devices. Miners of cryptocurrency verify, confirm, and store a copy of the blockchain.
